This is the audio component of the installation : JUST LOOKING by Susan Hensel. The script was developed from a nationwide survey of retail looking behavior. Around 100 resposes were distilled into this script performed by Susan Hensel, Tom Cassidy, Alison Morse, Sandy Beach and Mark Carlson.

Susan Hensel Gallery opened in Minneapolis,Mn,September 10th, 2004 as a gallery, workspace and artist resource center presenting 5 to 7 shows per year devoted to the concept of narrative art. It is the belief of Susan Hensel that humans are a "storymaking species" who will always seek, find or provide a story for any experience. It is the intent of Susan Hensel Gallery to provide art that is engaging, thought-provoking and of a quality that is often reserved for larger exhibiton spaces in the comfort of a casual and community-oriented format.
